Estate Grandeur
A desire to renovate the kitchen evolved into a much larger objective. The entire Georgian-style barn, which had been converted to an estate residence over 40 years ago, was refreshed. A new wing was added and the interiors were masterfully enlivened for a sense of decorum with a twist. Here modern art meets classic everything else. Elegant fabrics, notably a well-loved reprint of Brunschwig & Fils’ “La Portugaise,” elegant lighting, and grand furniture fill the expansive spaces while Venetian plaster walls add luster and dimension.
